China's First Root-Community of Desktop Operating System, openKylin, Makes Debut
On June 24th, the online launch event for China's first desktop operating system root community, openKylin, was successfully held under the theme "Creating Open Source Momentum, Enjoying a Boundless Future." The event attracted over 2 million viewers, and the openKylin community has made its official debut. The openKylin community aimed to build a top-tier open-source community for desktop operating systems based on "co-creation" as its core principle, and on the foundation of openness, voluntarism, equality, and collaboration. Through open-source and open community collaboration, the goal was to construct a globally influential open-source desktop operating system. As the leader and initiator of the openKylin community, China Electronics Corporation(CEC) would fully leverage its decades of operating system research and development achievements and over ten years of experience in building open-source communities. Adhering to the community philosophy of "open-source synergy, co-creating the future," CEC would collaborate with industry peers to jointly build the openKylin community.
